Now, I don't know about you, but the majority of my spare time is spent in my Kitchen. Whether I'm cleaning, cooking or doing never ending laundry, it seems that everything centers from there. (I guess that's why they call it the Heart of the Home.) That's why I think its so important to have a clean and organised control centre. - And for me that's; under my sink.
We first moved into our home a little over 2 years ago, whilst I was pregnant and nesting instincts were on high alert. However as we were busy budgeting for our new arrival we didn't want to spend a lot of money on fancy organising bins or shelving. As I had a large plastic bin spare from unpacking I used that. It fit almost perfectly and whilst it did not massively change the space, it did help to stop me over filling it and also prevented things from falling or tipping over when I opened the door. What was really useful about this large tub method, was that I was able to hang all of my spray bottles on the side of the box. This was so handy as it meant they were immediately accessible when I opened the cupboard door and they didn't get mixed up with the other items. Plus cleaning the cupboard itself was a breeze as I was able to pull out the whole tub, wipe the surfaces and place it back. Of course this was not a long term solution and even though it did fulfil its purpose for over a year and a half. As my daughter got older and required more of my attention elsewhere in the house, it was time for me to change things around. So i opted for expandable shelving which I purchased for £10.00 of Amazon. (I have linked the page at the end of this post) This helped me massively increase the area I was able to use under my sink as I was able to access all of the vertical space under the sink. Not only this but it's helped me to adhere to the '1 in, 1 out' rule. The '1 in, 1 out' is my organising goal, as it means I only have to touch something once to get it out, and then again only once to put it back. Basically the less often you have to touch or move an item to get it back to its 'home' means that its more likely that you will put it back there each time therefore helping to keep the space organised for longer. That's why its so great because not only does it help with keeping things organised, it also helps save time as you're not rummaging through trying to find something, or having to be really precise in putting it back. It really is a simple as '1 in, 1 out'. I've been using this shelving system under my sink for around 6 months now and I think its working a treat. So far I have not had to re-organise, or purge it of unwanted items. I'm still managing to hang all of my spray bottles off the side of one of the shelves, which is great because that was a system I really liked from using the tub, so I liked the fact that I could incorporate that into this. Something that I have started doing recently is using my own label maker to add labels down the side of the bottles so that I can easily pick the one I want, without having to take them off to check what they are. And after a month or so I purchased the 'Washing' tub from Amazon for £6.00 (normally I wouldn't spend so much on something so trivial but I had birthday vouchers to splurge so I thought I would treat myself!) and that's where I store my smaller washing detergents and supplies. Thank you so much for reading my post on how I organise under my kitchen sink. I have linked the page to Amazon for the shelving that I used so check it out. (Please be aware that prices on Amazon do fluctuate and so it may not be the same price that I paid previously) Please feel free to leave any comments or suggestions on how to improve this further! I am always looking for tips! I am planning on posting a full kitchen organising post very soon, so please keep an eye out for that if you enjoyed reading this. Georgia Day of Knights

Bringing home a new baby can be very daunting and scary. Even as a mum of now two, bringing home our new daughter was terrifying. Check out my latest vlog to see how I tackled my first day riding solo with the girls. I hope you enjoy watching! Hey guys, I'm so happy to finally be able to introduce the latest addition to the Knights Family. Meet our new daughter Thea Jayne Knights, born at 2.44am on 13th June 2017. We are all doing well and Isabella is loving her new role as big sister! Luckily my Labour went without too much of a hitch. If you'd like to know more, please check out my latest vlog on my YouTube channel (linked below) for the details. When you're pregnant, you're literally counting down the weeks and days until you get to meet you're new little bundle of joy. Esspecially in the last few weeks running up to your Due Date, any little twinge could be it and you know it could literally be any time. So when you end up going over your Due Date it can be really frustrating. I'm now currently 3 days over my due date, and whilst it is frustrating not knowing when this little one is going to make her grand debut. I have found that there are some positives in her taking her time. Check out my latest YouTube vlog to find out why. I recently stumbled across a Facebook article on how having an all natural birth means you go on to have a better connection to your child. If you're interested in my views on this please watch my below YouTube video, where I discuss it in more depth. Getting prepared for a new little bundle of joy can feel really overwhelming. Luckily I've already been through it once before so I thought I would share with you how I've prepared for this baby, plus the essentials that we purchased as well as some gifts we received from our recent baby shower. I remember with my first pregnancy, I packed pretty much the entire baby aisle into my hospital bag and packed it with military precision only to find out that I really didn't need all that stuff. Second time round I've kept it pretty minimal and I wanted to share it with you. Check out my latest YouTube blog on what's in my bag.
