The winner will be announced Saturday 8th April! I recently uploaded a post on '4 Areas of my Home that are definitely NOT Pinterest Worthy' and one of those areas was the space under our stairs in our hallway. This had kind of become our dumping ground. Most days ben would often leave his coats, shoes and bags on the floor and it would just look a mess. We'd tried lots of ways in the past to try and make use of the space but it always just ended up causing more chaos. So in
The end we decided to just panel it in. And I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Watch my full YouTube video on how we made the transformation. And please don't forget to like and subscribe if you enjoyed watching! Thanks Georgia Day of Knights As most of you know me and Ben are expecting our second baby in early June and so we had to move Isabella out of the nursery and into a bigger room. So with that being said I thought I would give you the grand tour of her new Big Girl Room Tour and Organisation. Let me know what you think in the comments below, and don't forget to subscribe if you haven't already. Thanks Georgia Day of Knights Spring has arrived which means it's a really great time to start refreshing your home and getting more organised. I find that kitchens and bathrooms are a great place to start if you're new to organising so I thought I would share with you how I've done mine. Georgia Day of Knights Like most of you I'm always looking for fun ways to keep my daughter entertained but also to help her learn. Personally I've found that using flashcards is a great way to do this as not only is it educational but also serves as great 1 on 1 time between you and your child. Therefore with that in mind I have come up with 3 different ways you can use your flashcards to encourage learning. Please watch my video linked below to find out more. If you enjoyed watching please give it a big thumbs up and don't forget to subscribe if you don't want to miss more videos like these in the future! Thanks for watching! Georgia Day of Knights I recently posted a video on small space organising, where I showed a small Cupboard of mine where me and my partner keep our personal items and additional toiletries. I had already organised this space previously however it just wasn't functioning for us. The aim of this video was to show that just because you have organised something once, doesn't necessarily mean that it's going to function long term - sometimes it needs to be tweaked before it works smoothly. (I have provided a link to this video below if you have missed it or are interested in seeing it again!) However I got received a few comments stating that because the middle area was not 'tidy' how can I claim to have organised it? So I thought I would make a quick video highlighting the differences between something being 'Tidy' and something being 'organised'. I hope you enjoy watching. If you have anything you'd like to add please let me know in the comments below. As always if your enjoyed don't forget to give it a big thumbs up and subscribe. Georgia Day of Knights Pregnant women are always described as glowing and beautiful. A lot of women say it's the most magical and best time of their life. However unfortunately I have to disagree. Have a watch below to find out my reasons why, and don't forget to let me know your thoughts in the comments below! Thanks Georgia Day of Knights As soon as I had my daughter it seemed that every occasion whether it was a birthday, or Christmas, was a chance to give out her cut baby pictures. But there are only so many photo frames in people's homes. So with Mother's Day fast approaching (at least in the uk it is - I realise this may not be the case if you are reading from overseas) I thought now would be a great time to share my top personalised gifts you can give from your kids for less than £10! 1) Personalised glass Last year on my twin sisters 18th birthday's I purchased the glass above from Amazonfor only £5! To bulk it up a bit I added a small bottle of liquor and chocolate. For Mother's Day you could add chocolates, a bottle of their favourite perfume or even a small bouquet of flowers. What I love about this is that it's functional and something that the person can actually use, plus you can make it a gift from the whole family! 2) Photo Mugs This is always a great go to gift as family, especially grandparents always love their cups of tea and grandchildren, so why not combine the two. I previously got my mug from Tesco's photo department when they were selling them for £7 for a Father's Day offer! However I don't think they are currently doing this promotion for Mother's Day but the picture I've got above shows that you can get them also from Amazon from between £7-10, so very budget friendly! 3) Photo Canvas If the person you are buying for doesn't particularly like hot drinks (like my mum) then perhaps something as simple as a photo canvas. Its a nice change to just the usual photo framed picture. The picture above is one I gave my mother for her birthday last year which shows me her, me, my sisters and daughter all together. The size I bought was A1 (24x33in) and again from Amazon for £10 so a great bargain. I know for certain than canvases of similar size and quality are sold in high street retailers for at least 3 times that amount! 4) DIY Photo Frame This is great if you've got crafty fingers. Above shows one I made for my fiancé last year on Father's Day. However if you are not so crafty then no need to worry you can purchase these online however they are normally between £20-30. What I love about this is that it's so versatile so you could make it for any occasion and if you have older children they can also get involved with decorating. I purchased everything from Amazon (frame for £8 and the scrabble tiles for £1.52) and then I just arranged them how I wanted. So those are my top personalised gifts, ranging from little/no effort to DIY and all under £10! Although some of them are not directly 'personalised' by your children, however grandparents always love it when they included, wether that is their name, picture or even handprint. I hope you have found this helpful if you are struggling to come up with budget friendly inspiration for Mother's Day! If you are interested in any of the items have put all the links for them at the bottom of this post, however please be aware that prices do fluctuate so they may not be exactly what I purchased them for at the time. As always if you have enjoyed reading, or have any other suggestions please let me know! I love hearing from you!
